Dante Marotta is a Landscape Designer at Melbeck Designs.
He is the second longest running team member, starting his career with the company in November 2020. Dante is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building relationships, producing project estimates, creating CAD’s and overseeing projects.
Prior to joining the team, Dante worked in the landscape industry as an Account Manager and Project Manager for several companies including BrightView Landscape, Acacia Landscape, and Saylee Greer.
Dante is a Texan native, born in San Antonio, and earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from Texas A&M University in 2016. He held an internship at Acacia Landscape and states time management was the most valuable lesson learned during his education.
Although Dante professes that sports is his hobby, he is an avid traveler, noting Mexico is his preferred destination. His childhood dream was to become a professional basketball player and, in his free time, he enjoys watching the Bears, Bulls, Spurs, Cubs, and Blackhawks. In addition, three Dachshunds round out Dante’s family – Coco, Bean, and Mocha.
